This month I am excited to share with you that I will be participating in the One Room Challenge Spring 2020. The One Room challenge™ provides participants with a supportive, enthusiastic forum in which to share the process of transforming a room. The ORC is not a competition, but rather a celebration of creativity, inspiration, and original ideas. I will be sharing our bathroom remodel for this challenge. You can find all the rooms and designers participating in the ORC HERE. You can also follow along on Instagram HERE. That’s where I will be sharing live videos and pictures.
The Bathroom
This original bathroom from the 1940s is itty bitty but full of character. From the baby blue tiles in the shower to the casement windows and even the chrome medicine cabinet mirror combo.
Bathroom Remodel Design Plan
We are planning this bathroom remodel to be a Phase One remodel. That meaning we will be using lots of paint and working with what is already there. The only thing we plan to replace is the floor tile. Everything else will be either painted or DIY’ed. You can follow along on this makeover by either subscribing HERE or following along on Instagram HERE.

Inspos
This is a bathroom done by Scout & Nimble. I loved the floor in this bathroom. The marble penny tiles with the contrast of the black flowers give this bathroom a soft but unique look.
This bathroom is done by Studio McGee. I love the strong black window in this bathroom. It provides a strong but beautiful focal point.
I love the warm tones pulling through in this tongue and groove.
