It’s no secret that I like decorating for Christmas. This is something I have loved doing since a young age! My mom would always let us decorate a tree in our rooms and I remember one year mine was 100% purple and even have purple shoe ornaments on it! I need to look for a picture. Whenever I try to add Christmas Decor to any space I always think about colors and texture, even in our small master bedroom.

Easy Decorating Tips
For our small Christmas master bedroom, I added a Woodchip Wreath, this one is similar, above the bed right over the existing art. This is an easy way to add something festive without having to remove what you already have in your bedroom.
Christmas Bedding
First, for the bedding, I replaced our colorful pillows with more wintery textures like a green velvet pillow along with the black fringed pillow.
I also added a warm fuzzy fur throw at the end of the bed for a cozy look!
I had a couple of extra homemade pom-pom garlands so I decided to put them across our windows.
Christmas Dresser
Decorating the dresser was so fun and easy! With a small master bedroom, I like to start by clearing off the entire dresser and starting with a blank slate. I added the mirror with the garland on top.
Then I added my plant basket back up on the dresser but added a festive tassel wood bead garland, this one is similar, around the base for a Christmas feel!
I use my diffuser every day so it was important to me to keep it on the dresser. I put it in this similar white house candle lantern and the diffusing mist goes right through the chimney. It is probably my favorite thing ever!
Lastly, added a couple of battery-operated candles and bowls full of essential oils. I am 100% hooked on Young Living essential oil‘s and you can read more about how to sign up here. I like to diffuse Christmas scents during the season and it totally puts our Small Christmas Master Bedroom in the holiday spirit.
