This recipe has been in my family for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory of eating these cinnamon rolls was when I was about seven years old. My mom would always let me ice my own because I like A LOT of icing. Still do! Thinking about them right now I can close my eyes and see my childhood kitchen. My mom standing there, holding tight to our bright red Kitchen Aid making sure it doesn’t fling off the counter while mixing the dough. (I am pretty sure that Kitchen Aid had a couple of loose screws.) My love language might be food, because I always felt a sense of love when my mom would whip up a batch for me and my siblings. The warmth of buttery dough and cinnamon sugar will make you feel right at home.
Cinnamon Rolls in Under an Hour
The best part about this recipe is it’s easy and can be done quick! I have done a batch in under an hour! It was close, probably like 59 minutes… But still, this recipe is one you’ll want to keep on hand. I’ve had several friends ask for it and still text me when they make them.
Free Cinnamon Roll Printable
I made this free printable you can put in a frame and display on your counter. It’s a fun way to add décor to your kitchen! Mine is an 8 x 10 and I found this frame at Homegoods. I found a similar one you can buy HERE from Target. A pan of these cinnamon rolls and a framed printable make the cutest “thinking about you” gift.
