Fun Dog Bed Ideas for Bedroom

Our recent Bridgerton-inspired bedroom makeover for my friend Kelly turned out beautifully! Everyone loved it, except for a very special somebody. That somebody happens to be Emma, Kelly’s dog. She felt a little left out that her parents got a bedroom makeover and she didn’t. We love dogs around here, so obviously we needed to amend this situation ASAP. Recognizing that no family member should feel left out, we decided to add a playful twist to our makeover madness by creating a special corner with fun dog bed ideas just for Emma. It’s not every day you get to design a dog’s dream space, but why not?

How Can I Make My Bedroom Dog-Friendly?

We’re not going to plop down any old dog bed in Kelly’s newly updated bedroom; that wouldn’t be very “Bridgerton,” would it? We opted for the cutest dog bed from Serena and Lily! It has a rattan base with a blue and white pattern, fitting perfectly into the space. I may or may not have tested it out to see how comfy it was for Emma. Spoiler alert: I could definitely take a nap on it.

Creating a Name Banner

First, I crafted a simple banner that read “Emma’s Room.” A little over the top? Perhaps, but all in good fun. After some spray painting and a bit of cutting with my Cricut machine, it was ready. This was our cheeky nod to Emma being the true queen of the household.

I took two dowels, spray-painted them, added pom-poms on top, and placed them on both sides of her bed.

Across the dowels, I strung a banner that says “Emma’s Room.” The banner was made from spray-painted craft wood with letters cut out using my Cricut machine. This not only personalized her space but also added a touch of whimsy to the room.

Dog Vision Board

What’s a makeover without a personal touch? For Emma, a small vision board featured essentials like tennis balls and images of cozy dog snuggles. It was more of a playful gesture than a functional piece, imagining what Emma might dream of if she were scrolling through doggy Instagram. Ha!

Fun Dog Bed Ideas Accessories

To give Emma’s space a bit of whimsy, we included a butterfly pillow and a bunny throw blanket. These weren’t just cute decorations; they were nods to the playful creatures Emma might chase in her dreams.

When all was said and done, Emma gave a happy wag of her tail as she explored her new space. Was it over the top? Absolutely. But it was also a joyful addition to our design project, blending humor with functionality.

Okay, you have to admit that you want to make your dog their own customized space, right? They will love it!
