Ingredients of Choice

Nacho Cheese Chips is the secret ingredient here. You will love the color and crunch that the chips add to the burger! Choose your favorite brand of nacho cheese chips, it is hard to go wrong! I used our favorite, Late July Nacho Cheese Chips, because they are free from preservatives and artificial coloring.

How do you keep salmon burgers from falling apart?

My go-to is the premade salmon burgers from Butcher Box. Seriously, their subscription service is a lifesaver. Their seafood is wild, and you can taste the quality in every bite. It saves me so much time at the grocery store, so I can focus on snagging fresh produce instead.

Let’s Get Cooking!

Prep the Food

If your salmon burgers are frozen, pop them in the fridge the night before to thaw. Crush your nacho chips finely – this will be your yummy crispy coating.

Coat your thawed salmon patties with the crushed chips! I like to add some seafood seasoning to the chips for a little extra zing.

How to Cook Premade Salmon Burgers

Melt some butter in a skillet with a little more of the fish seasoning. Let it get all nice and bubbly – that’s your cue that the pan is ready! Cook the patties on medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes each side until they’re golden brown.

Salmon Burger Sauce

Toast your buns (because who doesn’t love a crispy bun?) and spread mayonnaise on one side and some Sriracha on the other! Chop up some fresh romaine lettuce for extra crunch and color.

Layer your shredded lettuce on the toasted buns, add your crispy salmon burger. That is it, so quick and easy!
