This year I wanted to keep things fresh and simple for our Christmas front porch. Carter and I spend Christmas with family so I try to put it up a few weeks before so we have some time to enjoy it.
LIGHTS | PLANTER | BASKET | SIMILAR MAT
I kept this hanging basket up and added some wood and greenery. This basket from Target is a fan favorite and is easy to switch up from season to season, HERE is a similar one. I am sure I’ll be keeping mine up for a while.
I love using fresh garland when I can! Walking up to the smell of fresh pine puts me right in the Christmas mood. Even when it’s 80 degrees out! I picked up a fresh pine garland from Trader Joe’s. If you live near a Trader Joe’s, they always offer beautiful and fresh seasonal items. If you can’t find real, I am also a fan of faux. Faux is also easier to maintain. I plan to spray this fresh garland every day.
Layering your doormat is a great way to add texture and fun patterns. I used a black and white rug from Target under this “Winter Wonderland” doormat I picked up at Homegoods. I’ll link a similar doormat HERE.
This Norfolk Island Pine works great here Florida or anywhere else! I added THESE twinkling lights for a cozy glow for our Christmas Front Porch. I love the fresh green against the pink door. We painted our door using BERHS Pink Elephant. You can find the exact color HERE.
If you haven’t already, try adding a few festive items to your front porch. Don’t stress about making it perfect. You can use things you already have in your Christmas boxes or find something simple and fresh at the store. A Christmas front porch should always be warm and inviting.
