This DIY beadboard feature wall was so easy and has made a big impact on this small space. The wall leading to our kitchen was awkward and hard to decorate. There was a light switch and thermostat in the middle of the wall which made it hard to place any artwork or wall decor. Along with this problem, the wall leads into our small hallway so it wasn’t ideal to place furniture or any piece that would stick out too far. This Beadboard Feature Wall solution is gorgeous and still useful for some storage!

DIY Beadboard Feature Wall
We started with THIS paneling. We cut it the appropriate height and cut out places for the outlets. We attached it using a nail gun. We love THIS nail gun. We then used THIS moulding for finishing pieces.
For the shelf, we used THIS wood. I bought everything pre-primed so it was easy to paint. We used the color Alabaster from Sherwin Williams. Before placing the pegs we used paintable caulk to make everything look smooth. We then drilled holes and placed THESE shaker pegs. I love the natural look of the pegs.
Decorating
Decorating this space was so fun. On one side I placed a large bag tassel bag. You can shop a similar bag HERE. I plan to use this bag to hold different items like cords and my laptop.
This print is from Binge Studio. They have some amazing prints like this lined fiddle which you can shop HERE.
I also love that now I have a place to hang more plants. You know how I feel about hanging plants. You can find my gold watering can HERE and my favorite macrame plant hangers HERE.
This Beadboard Feature Wall is so pretty to look at and will serve a perfect function in our home. You can read more of our posts HERE or follow me on Instagram HERE.
