While I was home in Idaho my sisters and I wanted to throw a baby shower for my sister-in-law. We decided to have a fun luxury outdoor picnic and beautiful summer weather. We did so many fun things while I was in Idaho this summer, including a vacation to Bear Lake!

Rugs and Cushions
I found the most beautiful vintage-inspired rugs and used to 9 x 11‘s for A sitting area. This was big enough to fit about 20 people! For comfort, I found a variety of floor cushions for each person to sit on.
Picnic Table
For the picnic table, I put together three construction pallets. This was a really great and inexpensive option. I love how rustic it looked against the vintage-styled rug.
Hanging Lights
Hanging the lights was one of my favorite parts of the picnic! I hammered rebar poles into the ground and then slipped a 1 inch PVC pipe over the polls. I spray-painted the PVC pipe black and I used zip ties to attach the string lights to the top of the PVC pipes. The rebar pole has held the polls in place while the spray-painted PVC pipe is made for cuter poles.
This was a super easy and cute way to celebrate a new baby! We will definitely be doing something like this again.
