Multi-Functional Furniture
Use multi-functional furniture. Using furniture that has multiple functions is vital in small living. This TV console in my living room stores our Ottomans. Now they are out of the way while we’re not using them.
Sliding Doors
Be intentional about each piece of furniture. This Ikea furniture in my kitchen has sliding doors which allows me to fit in tight spaces without feeling overcrowded by swinging doors.

Store High and in Baskets
Here are two tips in one! Use the space above you and store regular household items in cute storage baskets. The baskets function as storage containers and it also looks adorable! Putting a basket on top of your fridge to store extra kitchen items is a perfect way to utilize this tip!
Wall Feature
In a small house, you will most likely have a wall where you won’t be able to have any furniture. In this case, I say go for the feature wall! A feature wall is a great way to add interest to the area while keeping all needed space available.

Small Side Tables
Lastly, tiny side tables and stools! I probably have about six tiny side tables and stools in my house. Using them in every corner allows for smooth daily living! The stool in my bathroom is great! I use it while I’m doing my hair or I have a place for my tea while I’m getting ready in the morning.
