Purple Beadboard Wall Paneling

We did this beadboard wall paneling project a few years ago and at the time I wasn’t sure about what color so I just left it white. Earlier this year I finished furnishing the rest of our living room and felt that the beadboard feature wall needed to be painted.

Unfinished Beadboard Paneling

Beadboard wall paneling is the perfect way to add details and interest to any space. In our case, adding beadboard to a narrow walkway worked perfectly. Since the walkway was too small for furniture, having a big blank wall felt like an empty space was dragging the rest of the room down.

We added cute peg wall hooks and we use these hooks every day to hang our jackets and bags!

Picking a paint color was a wild ride! I picked up two paint samples and brought them home to test out on the beadboard paneling. I loved both of the paint colors but they felt like they were falling a little flat. One sample didn’t have enough color while the other was too bright.

Painted Beadboard

It was an easy fix, I decided to mix them together! I’m officially announcing the unofficial new paint color, Blushing Berry! I knew a few of you would request the color so I took the painted sample to Home Depot and had them create a barcode. If you screenshot the image below they will be able to scan the barcode and get you this exact same color!

Beadboard Wall Ideas

I love using beadboard wall paneling because it’s such an easy project and makes a big statement! We used beadboard wall paneling in our Florida room, which really ties the two spaces together. This new purple space is so cute! I have the perfect idea for the space above the shelf so make sure to follow along to see what happens next!
