It’s no secret that I love to refresh my front door every once in a while. I had my door painted pink for such a long time but I was ready for a change! And of course, you know I have a new obsession with the unofficial paint color Blushing Berry… So purple front door it is!
Best Purple Color for Front Door
Before I decided to paint my front door, I headed to Pinterest for some inspiration. There were so many adorable purple colors and I really wanted my front door to be fun and colorful but still not too bright. This purple is more muted and looks adorable next to all of the greenery. The hanging plant on the door is called a String Bean Hoya! It has the prettiest white blooms in the winter.

Painted Front Doors with Glass

Matte Black Handle and Lock
We added a new black door handle and a keyless entry lock. I think it looks great with a new front door. I also love that you can use your fingerprint to lock and unlock the door.
I always like to layer a few mats on the front door for a fun out of interest. And of course, no purple front door is complete without a bunch of plants! We turned this adorable gold lantern into a terrarium with some succulents and it’s one of my new favorite additions!
