Making over this small master bedroom was so fun! Don’t let the size of a room hold you back from its full potential. The simplest of updates can make the biggest impact! Here’s a before picture of the small bedroom.
A big thank you to Apt2B for gifting the furniture for this makeover!

Paint
We first started with paint. We opted for a warm white color to really brighten up the room. Painting alone made the room feel bigger and give it a fresh new look.
Accent Paint
Adding an accent wall in smaller bedrooms can sometimes complicate the space. That’s why we decided to add the cutest accents by painting the interior doors with a warm neutral color! I used this same color in my sunroom, it’s a classic!
This is probably my favorite part of this makeover. It just took the space to the next level. It is a classic and lovable design.
Window Treatments
Everything in this room we kept very simple including the window treatments. We used black curtain rods and light filtering curtains. I love how these curtains have a little bit of texture and a pattern. It brings interest to the walls without much effort.
Apartment Sized Furniture
I love that you know can find apartment size furniture for any space! All of the new furniture in this room is from Apt2B. The nightstands in the striking hunter green are the perfect addition to the wood bed frame and wood dresser. I love that Apt2B doesn’t compromise looks for small living!
Bedding
Having a perfect fluffy bed is one of my favorite things in any bedroom! The sheets and duvet are linen in the most perfect neutral color. To play with a little more texture I added a velvet quilt and a few throw pillows. The orange throw pillows really complement the side tables and I always love a good lumbar pillow.
Decor Home Accents
Of course, we had to add a lot of plants and fun home decor! Since the space is small, we used appropriate size lamps for the side tables and use the space of the ceiling and walls for art and plants! Adding a gold mirror above the dresser was the perfect way to add a modern touch.
