Vintage Inspired Christmas Front Porch

Decorating our front porch this year was so fun! This is the first year that I’ve actually put Christmas decorations in this room. Being able to walk in and see all the festive decor makes me smile! I really wanted to decorate the swing with some fun Garland and make it look like a vintage inspired Christmas.

Easy Front Porch Christmas Decorations

Adding garland to our front porch swing made the whole area feel really festive. I started with a 10-foot faux pine Garland and added an additional Norfolk pine garland for more fullness. I love the way the two garlands look together.

Then I added colorful lights because this year I am focusing on the theme of a vintage inspired Christmas. Nothing says nostalgic Christmas like colored lights.

Colored lights are so fun, but to add extra sparkle, I layered the garland with a set of large globe bulbs. This added such a fun bright look and really pulled the garland together. I also used big colored blubs on our kitchen garland and it turned out so cute!

Vintage Christmas Porch Decorations

For a cozy addition, I wrapped wool felt garland around the swing and added some small, colorful ornaments. The small ornaments come in so many fun, modern colors. I love mixing the two concepts of modern and vintage inspired for Christmas.

I love that the cream ball felted garland matched the sheepskin rug I added to the swing. I also threw in a few fun pillows, including this star pillow. It really helped bring a wintery look into our Florida room.

Outdoor Christmas Decorations

I finished off the garland by adding three velvet bows to one side. I love the look of an asymmetrical touch. It feels very eclectic and fits perfectly in our cozy Christmas bungalow
