Our New Fluffy Bedding
Slowly but surely our room has been coming together! I knew I wanted to save bedding for later once we had more of our permanent decor designs in place.
We couldn’t be happier with our new linen bed bundle from The-Citizenry. You can shop all of their bed bundles HERE we have the Sand Stripe. Most of our pillows we shopped at Home Goods, so I took the liberty to put together a round-up of fluffy bedding must-haves! Shop a look similar to ours!
My favorite thing about linen is the longer you use it, the softer it gets!

Three Tips for Fluffy Bedding
- Inserts! I always recommend sizing up in your pillow inserts. If your cover is a 20 x 20, opt for a 24 x 24 insert. Don’t overthink how many pillows you need on your bed. Focus more on making a few pillows look cozy by sizing up the inserts than quantity.
2. Layer texture through throws and pillows. Typically people think the more the better… However, I always say make it interesting with less. I do that by incorporating textures here and there. For example, you’ll see my pillows have tassels and the throw is made from chunky wool.
3. Size up on your duvet! We have a queen-size bed so we used a king-size duvet insert. This is the trick of all tricks for fluffy bedding! If you already have a king, you could try using two thinner duvets to make one fluffy one!
